Costa Rika airport

With my old job, I was travelling a lot. I went to many European countries and until the time I arrived to Costa Rika airport I never realised that I was really somewhere different. There, I said I am really going somewhere different and exciting. All European airports look the same to me. They are fashionable and you feel like shopping or eating. Even the Japanese airport (tokyo) it looked the same way. But better, so clean neat and ultra-developped. But Costa Rika airport is small, very humid, so crowded and not very well organised. There is reggea-ish music in the small shops made of wooden and selling coffee (mis gibi) and chocolate, parrot shaped magnets, wooden bracelets, nice books with so many beautiful pictures of Costa Rica and you are sweating while carrying your stuff around. There are no hangers in the toilets. It is crazy. The music is so peaceful and they are promoting natural forrest water, nature tourism everywhere. If I have a chance I would like to go to Costa Rica for a big time nature vacation. I bought parrot magnets and I know that this country is not going to be boring.
I like the feeling in the air in Latin America.. It is so cosy unlike the ultra-hygenic European airports..

panama

Panama has a strange weather in November. In the morning you wake up with a sunny weather and around 11 am it starts raining. It pours!! and when you go out after the rain you can hardly breathe, it is such a humid weather.. Anyway, waking up opening you curtains and seeing the beatiful palm trees that are 10 times bigger than the ones in Izmir or in Nice, you feel good about being here. In the afternoons around 4pm the small, white monkeys play in the trees. they jump from one branch to another. They dance in the trees and you can feed them with bananas. We are not doing safari, all this is happening in our villa’s garden! It is so lovely. I will take better pictures soon and place them on my blog.
